Paradise Lost at Kew Gardens

Description: Explore the beauty and fragility of the natural world and humanity’s impact on it with this stunning exhibition led by world-renowned artist Jan Hendrix. Jan examines the transformation of landscapes and how we record the natural world in botanical images, using a variety of materials including glass and silver leaf.

Artemisia at The National Gallery

#2: Artemisia at The National Gallery | Art Exhibitions London

Dates: 3rd October 2020 to 24th January 2021

Description: In this first major exhibition of Artemisia’s work in the UK, see her best-known paintings including two versions of her iconic and viscerally violent ‘Judith beheading Holofernes’; as well as her self portraits, heroines from history and the Bible, and recently discovered personal letters, seen in the UK for the first time.

Bruce Nauman @ Tate Modern

Dates: 7th October 2020 until 21st February 2021

Description: Bruce Nauman is a restlessly inventive artist. Since the late 1960s he has continually tested what an artwork can be, by reshaping old forms and creating new ones. His ground-breaking works using sound, film, video and neon have influenced generations of artists.

This is the first major exhibition of his work in London in more than 20 years. It allows visitors to engage with the artist’s universe through immersive installations with a strong emphasis on sound and moving image, as well as poetic sculptures and neon pieces.

Atelier Picasso at Bastian

#4: Atelier Picasso at the Bastian Gallery | Art Exhibitions London | October 2020

Description: Atelier Picasso at BASTIAN reimagines Picasso’s Cannes studio as an immersive experience within the gallery, using a treasure trove of objects including furniture, sculptures, ceramics, drawings and prints. Throughout his life Picasso was a prolific image-maker, experimenting and excelling in every medium with which he worked. This extraordinary installation-style exhibition brings to life the huge variety of Picasso’s oeuvre.
