Agwa’s work stems from the conclusion that creating culture has the benefit of binding non genetically or environmentally related beings to one another. The uniquely human act of creation enables us to attain our most valuable assets, each other. Agwa holds this principle in all that he creates, allowing him to create work for its cultural significance rather than it’s reference to modernism.
